Ovum donation is a procedure that makes it possible for a woman to become pregnant and give birth using the eggs of another woman. Your participation and commitment in this program is invaluable to a couple that, for many reasons, is not able to conceive using the female partner's egg. At the present time, there have been thousands of babies who have been born as the result of donated eggs.
- 21 - 29 years of age
- No genetic/hereditary illness
- Ability to withstand injections
- Ability to travel unaccompanied for 7 - 10 days
- At least one successful pregnancy strongly preferred
This program will make emotional and physical demands on your busy schedule and family life. It is a decision that must be made with your partner (if applicable) and family. It is not a decision to be made lightly. You will be required to travel, attend medical appointments and take fertility medications. The timetables for treatment require strict adherence in order for the sophisticated medical treatments to be successful. As a result, your involvement in the parents' lives and the gift you give them is enormous.
