Agency Services For Surrogacy Programs

- Full-time staff to organize all aspects of your program;
- Education of all parties involved about medical/legal procedures and requirements;
- Preparation of legal contracts for the agency, client, and surrogate;
- Advertising and screening of surrogates to provide a variety of candidates;
- Psychological screening, including MMPI-2, of all surrogates;
- Review of and assistance with understanding the surrogate's medical insurance;
- Provision of information about available candidates to the couple including:
- Family medical history through 3 generations;
- Obstetrical/gynecological information;
- Psychological evaluation;
- Medical insurance summary;
- Educational and vocational history, personal interests, and achievements; and
- Pictures of the surrogate and her children.
- Matching the client to a suitable surrogate;
- Organization of medical testing for the surrogate;
- Coordination and scheduling of travel and accommodation arrangements for the surrogate;
- Organization of fertility treatments for the surrogate and client;
- Liaison between the medical facility and the surrogate, as required;
- Establishment of an Expense Account (EA) in order to coordinate payment of surrogate expenses;
- Facilitation of payment of all invoices resulting from the surrogacy program by an EA;
- Reconciliation of all payments made from the EA and preparation of financial statements for each client;
- Formation of a fee holding account to hold surrogate's fee as required;
- Release of funds according to your agreement;
- Help with finding a term life insurance policy for the surrogate during the pregnancy;
- Ongoing communications with the lawyer during pregnancy and assistance with legal paperwork to reduce final legal bills, if possible;
- Groundwork for legal papers for legal proceedings before and after the birth of the baby;
- Support with travel/accommodations for birth and legal proceedings, if required; and
- Continuous communication with and support of client and surrogate throughout pregnancy and birth.
